


Company Overview: For over 50 years, our client, a nationally recognized not-for-profit corporation has been conducting scholarship programs for identifying and honoring academically talented US high school students who have exceptional abilities and show great promise for future academic success. Scholarships are privately financed by corporations, company foundations, professional groups, universities, colleges and the corporation’s own funds. Students are awarded scholarships worth more than $50 million annually which are administered by the corporation. Location: near-north Chicago suburb.
Position Description: The Sponsor Development Manager is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with existing corporate sponsors as well as prospecting and developing new sponsors for the specific scholarship programs administered by the corporation. As part of a small team that covers the entire United States, this individual will be expected to travel no more than 10% of the year and must be comfortable communicating with a variety of corporate contacts from administrators to officers.
